Summer @CCGF – Christ Church at Grove Farm

Summer @CCGF

BAPTISM

If you’d like to be baptized or have a child baptized, we have two opportunities in July:

On Sunday, July 18 we’ll be having baptisms at both the 9:00 am and the 11:15 am service. On Sunday, July 25, we’ll be having immersion baptisms following the 11:15 am service.

missions project

Every one of us is called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to get involved in local outreach and mission work. So, we are going to make it easy! You are going to be able to make a difference in our community, in our city, and even across the world from right here at Christ Church. Stop by the Missions Table in the Commons and see what mission opportunities are available and how you can participate or click the button below. This month’s opportunities include making one pan of food for Urban Impact camp staff (we even supply the pan!) or filling a backpack with supplies for refugee children in Crafton Heights. Even in these small ways, we can love one another and share God’s tremendous love for us with others. This is Every Member Ministry at Christ Church and together we can make a difference! So stop by the table today or check out the opportunities on our website at ccgf.org/missions.

amped middle school

Grow together this Summer!!! We have 2 different groups gathering to study the book of Philippians and spend time having fun! One group for girls and one group for guys.

labor of love

Several years ago, the women of CCGF raised funds to build a birthing clinic in Uganda called the  Labor of Love. We are happy to report that the clinic is thriving and caring for so many women and children. Because of this, they are now ready to expand their services to include a pharmacy, lab & outpatient clinic! Please come and help us accomplish this!

Saturday, July 31, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in Wilson Hall

ENCOUNTER

We invite you to come and “encounter” God’s presence with us on Wednesday evenings. It is our privilege to call on God in prayer and there is no limit to what God can and will do as we pray in accordance with His Word and will. We will be meeting outside, weather permitting, so bring your lawn chairs or blankets!
