Mission and Evangelism Director
Christ Church at Grove Farm
As Christ Church’s new Director of Evangelism and Missions, Dan Davis understands that Jesus’ Great Commission was meant to inspire pastors and missionaries but should begin with the individual, meaning all believers. Dan says his goal is “to help lead the church to be an effective witness in Pittsburgh and around the world.”
Dan previously worked with the Cru missions organization for 16 years, sharing the Gospel domestically and internationally. He studies foreign languages as a witnessing tool. He minored in Spanish but says he’s “much better in Arabic.” Sports, particularly basketball, and reading are activities he enjoys. He studied Agricultural Business and Applied Economics at The Ohio State University. He roots for Buckeye football and basketball teams and the Cincinnati Bengals (unfortunately ). Dan and wife Alicia have four children: Eve, Kale, Gwyn, and Violet. His ideal day off includes a family hike, playing games, and hanging out with his kids.
Dan is a gracious, kind, and considerate guy. He’s eager to relaunch and expand missions at Christ Church, making sure to keep evangelism at the forefront of everything he does. We are excited to have him on the team.
