SCHOOL SUPPLIES

July 4 – August 1

We will be collecting school supplies for the refugee community in Crafton Heights. Collection will run from July 4 through August 1. You can bring your donations to the Missions Table in the Commons on Sunday mornings, or drop off at the church anytime during the week.

ITEMS NEEDED:

  • Monetary Donations- $10 for 1 backpack & supplies
  • Glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Pens/pencils
  • Markers
  • Notebooks
  • Colored pencils
  • Folder
  • Backpacks

bike collection

August 22 – 29, 2021

If you have any bicycles you’d like to donate to our bicycle collection, please drop them off at the Storage Shed (near the basketball court in the back parking lot) anytime between August 22 and 29. We are looking for any size used bikes in somewhat decent condition. The bikes will be cleaned up, fixed up, and delivered to the refugee community in the Crafton Heights area of Pittsburgh. We are partnering with Communicycle in this effort.

UPCOMING OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES:

July 4 – August 1:  Backpack Supply Collection

August 7:  Crafton Heights Refugee Community Outreach- Backpack distribution door to door.  Come with us to meet people in the community and to distribute the backpacks! We’d love for you to join us as we build relationships in the city of Pittsburgh through our mission work here at Christ Church.  We will meet at CCGF at 12:00

August 22 – 29:  Bike Collection. Drop off used bikes at the CCGF Storage Shed. Bikes will be delivered to the refugee community in the Crafton Heights area of Pittsburgh.
