45live (4th & 5th grade) – Christ Church at Grove Farm

45live (4th & 5th grade)

45 LIVE SPOOKTACULAR

Wednesday, October 27, 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Students are invited to come in their costumes, compete for the small group cup, carve pumpkins, participate in a costume contest, and hear a special lesson on sharing the message of Jesus with their friends. It’s an event your student and their friends will not want to miss! This event is totally FREE and open to all 4th and 5th-grade students.

“45 Live” is for students going into 4th and 5th grade. These years are an interesting phase in the life of your child.

Friendships start becoming more important and refined, self-esteem and confidence are being built or destroyed. Physically, these kids are all over the place. Some are reaching puberty and growing an inch a day while some are staying put right where they are. Morally, some are clinging to what the Word of God teaches while others are beginning to test the fences. Mentally, they are beginning to deal with more abstract thinking and are starting to reasonably consider other’s perspectives. They are holding to their family values, but at this phase, they may ask some very tough questions.

As your church family, we want to help you as parents walk your kids through this trying phase. That is why we created “45 Live”. This program is designed to help equip our kids in 4thand 5th grade to navigate the physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual rapids that they are about to go through in their middle school and high school years.

What does God’s word tell us about becoming men and women of God? Why do we do the things we do in church? Why is it important to start these spiritual disciplines now? Join us for “45 Live” as we uncover that answer to these questions and many more through worship, games, biblical study, and small groups!!!!!

There is no fee for 45 Live. For the 45 Live Calendar, click the link on the sidebar to the right.
