I am an elementary teacher in the North Hills School District. Teachers get quite a few gifts this time of year, but one little boy in particular gave me a handwritten note with this Goodwill card attached. The note simply said, “Thank you for helping me be better at math. My mom is always telling me to pray for help. I think Jesus heard me and made you my teacher because he knew you would be extra nice and help me.” It brought tears to my eyes. We may not always realize the impact of giving our time or patience to those who need it most.
