Facilities Assistant

The Facilities Assistant is a full-time employee who performs the day-to-day maintenance and renovation of the Christ Church at Grove Farm campus. This position performs setup and teardown requirements for all services, programs, and events. The Facilities Assistant is also available to load/unload supplies and move heavy items as needed. Scheduled evening and weekend work is required.

The ideal candidate is required to have a high school diploma or equivalent and a knowledge of building, repair, and maintenance procedures. Experience in trades such as painting, carpentry, electric, plumbing, and/or landscaping preferred.

Must be able to routinely lift and transport up to 50 pounds and is required to climb stairs, use a ladder-type device, and work off scaffolding or from a high lift.

We are looking for self-starters who can work well without frequent supervision; successfully multi-task; work under pressure; and pay attention to detail.

This part-time hourly position will provide a safe, secure, and learning environment for children from infant through age 5 during regular services, special programs, and events at Christ Church at Grove Farm.

The ideal candidate must be at least 15 years of age and have experience working with children. We are looking for someone willing to work evenings and weekends as needed and who is flexible with assigned tasks.

High School Coordinator

This part-time (20 hours/week) position assists the High School Director in reaching and spiritually developing high school students. The High School Coordinator will also engage and connect with students who are not currently a part of the ministry community. 

Working with volunteers, this person will assist in the execution of the High School Ministry’s strategy through organization, preparation, and implementation of its programs and events.

This position must agree with the mission, vision, and doctrinal position of Christ Church at Grove Farm and is expected to contribute to the staff’s team spirit through fellowship, encouragement, leadership, prayer, cooperation, and participation. Must be available to serve during services, special services, programs, and events as needed.
