Support Groups – Christ Church at Grove Farm

Support Groups

Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

We were designed by our creator to get better, together. God has hard-wired us for relationships for a variety of reasons – we were never meant to do life alone – one of the biggest reasons is that our burdens would be divided and our joys would be multiplied. If you need help, please let us know. We would love to get you connected in one of our support groups. You may read more about them below.

Grief Share

GriefShare will resume in September, 2024.
GriefShare offers support for people grieving the loss of someone close. There are people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.

Each session includes a video, group discussion, and a workbook to assist you on your journey. Griefshare meets Thursdays at 6:30 pm in John Guest Ministry Center.

divorce care

DivorceCare will resume in September, 2024.

DivorceCare helps you recover from the pain of separation and divorce. Unless you’ve been there, it’s hard to understand the hurt that comes from separation and divorce. That’s why many of your friends and family don’t fully understand what you are going through and don’t know best to help you. Divorcecare meets on Mondays at 6:30 pm in the Great Room.

Caring Meals provides meals to our Church Family following surgery, illness, or the birth of a child. Caring Meals is always in need of people willing to cook a meal and serve our church family.

Please contact Kathy Orlando at 412-719-9541, to get connected to the team or receive help from Caring Meals.

The Hospitality Ministry team desires to serve by creating a warm and welcoming environment; providing and serving healthy and tasty food for receptions of funerals, memorial services, weddings, and baptisms for our church family and their guests at an affordable cost.
