PASTORAL COUNSELING AND BIBLICAL LIFE COACHING
Our Care Department offers spiritual guidance to individuals, couples, and families. Although the support and encouragement of a small group and/or support group within our church family is highly recommended, pastoral counseling and Biblical life coaching offer an individualized focus on a particular need or situation. Using the Bible as our foundation to find direction, allowing God to change the way we think, and realizing that our relationship with God will provide our ultimate solution – we discover new practices for life, new ways of thinking, and healthy disciplines to begin applying to our lives – all found in God’s Word.
Some of the areas we offer help in are:
- Adjustments through Life’s Difficulties
- Family Counseling
- Marriage Counseling
- Mental Health Coaching
Counseling and Coaching are free to members and regular attenders of Christ Church. However, for those needing multiple sessions, we require that you attend COMMUNITY OF HOPE at least two Monday nights a month where you will find additional Biblical teaching and the support of others as we were designed to get better, together. One of our pastors will meet with you at least once a month during the second hour of Community of Hope for sessions.
We also partner with close Christian Professional Therapists & Psychiatrists in the area. We find it best to refer to Professional Christian Counseling after three to five sessions with our pastors, or for certain struggles.

At Christ Church, we offer premarital counseling to our members, regular attenders, and those getting married by one of our pastors. To be married by one of our pastors at Christ Church, it is required to attend premarital counseling. Our goal is to provide you with sound, Biblical advice that will give you the tools you need to take your first steps as a married couple successfully. Premarital Counseling does not fall under our other counseling guidelines: If you have begun the wedding process here at Christ Church, contact one of our pastors to begin scheduling sessions. Premarital Counseling is $35 per session to be paid to the pastor at the time of your session.
Getting married is an exciting time in your life. If you choose to get married at Christ Church, our desire is that the wedding ceremony would be as beautiful and memorable as possible. Christ Church has a wonderful Wedding Team that is ready to work with you to make your day as wonderful as you always imagined it would be. Please visit our WEDDING PAGE to learn more or to get started planning your big day!
BAPTISMS & DEDICATIONS
Baptism is an outward sign of an inward decision that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior and you have decided to trust Him with your life, your future, and to follow Him. At Christ Church, we will both baptize or dedicate children. To learn more about Baptisms & Dedications at Christ Church, to register to be baptized, or to register to have your child baptized or dedicated: please visit our BAPTISM PAGE
FUNERALS & MEMORIAL SERVICES
Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult times we can go through in life on this earth. Jesus, God-in-the-flesh, walked this earth and experienced everything we experience, except sin itself. Jesus knew what it was like to weep over the loss of loved ones, and it is He who said, “Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted.”
Our Care Ministries’ Department desires to help you walk through this difficult time in any way we possibly can. We would like to visit with you and care for you while you grieve, help you as you make decisions with funeral homes, make additional arrangements, and help you plan and officiate for you a funeral or memorial service that truly celebrates the life of your loved one and helps to bring comfort and peace to all who grieve their loss. Please let us know how we can help.
When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Romans 12:13
The Care Ministries of Christ Church wants to help you WIN no matter what you may be going through in life. If you need help, we want to be here for you! Please contact us and let us know how we, and our team, can help you!
