He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. 2 Corinthians 1:4
The mission of our Care Teams is to Connect and Care for those in need who are in, and within reach of, our church family. We do this by giving them our time, compassion, prayer, and support. There are dozens and dozens of caring folks who serve on one or more of our various Care Teams. Please let us know how we can help you by contacting us or clicking the “How Can We Care For You Link.” If you are interested in serving on one of these teams, please contact Debbie Huffmyer at firstname.lastname@example.org. Not only would you be making a difference in the lives’ of others, but your life may be changed as well!
Our Care Team has a passion to Connect with and Care for those in need in our church family. They reach out over the phone, video chat, email, texts, cards, & other means of communication to give of their time, compassion, prayer, support, and help to care for those in need. Above all, our Care Team seeks to connect with others, care for them, discern their needs, pray for them, and dispatch support from the church for them if needed.
SUNDAY PRAYER & CARE TEAM
Our Prayer & Care Team meets in person with those who indicate a need for prayer during our Sunday Services, usually directly after the sermon. They take the time to listen, develop compassion for those they meet with, pray for them, and report back so that either they, or the Care Team, can follow up during the week.
PRAYER CHAIN TEAM
This group of prayer warriors & prayer intercessors are alerted via email from our online form of various prayer needs throughout the church. They will hear requests for prayer from our pastors, church staff, care teams, or the person requesting the prayer themselves. This vital group of warriors heads into battle and prays for the people, asking God to intercede on their behalf.
Our Visitation Team desires to go out to meet and connect with those who may be shut-in, in nursing care facilities, hospitalized, under hospice, or in need of a visit. They love to meet with and connect with people, care for them, pray for them, and check in on them.
When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Romans 12:13
