Support – Christ Church at Grove Farm

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another.

Hebrews 10:25

Bringing together groups of people who are going through similar difficulties and struggles in life, under well-trained leadership teams, to support one another and grow together in God’s Word to win these battles by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Caring Meals:

Caring Meals provides meals to our Church Family following surgery, illness, or the birth of a child. Occasionally, the team will gather together to cook and serve refreshments or a light luncheon for funeral and memorial services we hold at the church.

We are always in need of people willing to cook a meal, serve our church family, and belong with us as a member of our team. Please contact Kathie Mariana, 412-200-0317 or, for more information or to get connected.

Celebrate Recovery:

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues – the hurts, habits, & hang-ups – that are controlling our life.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. It may be hard to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel resulting from the death of a loved one. That’s the reason for GriefShare, a special support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. Our GriefShare support group meets online using Zoom every Thursday evening at 6:30 pm, starting on February 18, 2021. Register on, selecting “Find a Group” or call for current session info.

Thursdays | 6:30-9:00 pm | on Zoom | Contact Ed Santavicca 412-559-1168 to let us know you are coming. There is no need to attend in sequence: you may start when you are ready and miss a week or two if you need to.

Homeschooling moms’ Support Group:

A support group for parents educating & schooling their children at home. This group is for both veterans and those who may be new Homeschooling & Cyberschooling due to Covid-19. This group is run by a team of women with a ton of homeschool experience, who have also homeschooled in different ways. They, too, have supported one another and helped each other as they educate their children at home – now, they partner together to help families in Christ-Centered Home Education.

We meet at different times in person for different events throughout the school year. We stay in contact with one another for constant support for each other in our home education journeys. At times, we meet for Zoom Calls to “check-in” and support one another.

Contact Jess Toy,, or Kristi MaWhinney,, to get connected to our group!

We know what it is like for those who have suffered pregnancy loss, who are going through infertility, and have no outlet or support as many do not understand. When it comes to pregnancy loss, infertility, pregnancy crisis, and not knowing where to turn with our emotions or when we need help – we have been there before – and we are here to help. We have walked with many couples individually, and together in groups, to get the Christ-Centered love and support they need during this incredibly difficult season of life.
