PRAYER TEAMS

Our Prayer Teams are comprised of people who are confidential committed prayer warriors. When prayer requests are received by various avenues in the church, these teams are immediately activated to pray for the needs of our church family. In addition, members of the prayer team are stationed in teams of two at the end of each worship service and stationed online for our streaming services for those who wish to come forward or write in for prayer. Our current Prayer Teams are:

  • The Prayer Chain: A group of dedicated intercessory prayer warriors who are activated with the prayer needs of our church family. If you are interested in joining the team, please contact Debbie Huffmyer, 412-741-4900, x143 or dhuffmyer@ccgf.org.
  • Weekly Chapel Prayer Group: You are invited to join us on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am in our Chapel to pray for our services, our pastors, and our people. Please contact Carla Batch at carlabatch1@gmail.com
  • Sunday Worship In-Person Prayer Team: Teams of two are stationed at the prayer rails following Sunday services to pray for anyone in need. Please contact Ron Shay, 412-264-1429, if you would like to serve at the 9:15 am service and Louise Pickett, louiserp62@gmail.com, if you would like to serve at the 11:15 am service.

VISITATION MINISTRY TEAM

A Ministry Team comprised of those with a passion to go and visit those in the hospital, shut-ins, or those who just need a connection from our church family. They are “dispatched” by the call team – and some people may choose to serve on both teams. After each visit, they report back using the Care Form online.

CHRIST CHURCH ONLINE MINISTRY TEAM

The Church Online Ministry Team reaches the people who find us online and may worship with Christ Church at Grove Farm online, connects with them, prays for them & with them, and helps them to move from the “Digital Interaction to the Personal Interaction and the eventual Close Connection with members of the Church Family.” This team reports back using the Care Form online.
