Rev. Wade Ewing
Associate Pastor
Wade grew up in Beaver County and came to Christ at the age of 12 through the ministry of his church and a local Christian camp. He was exposed to overseas missions as a teenager with a trip to Brazil. That event turned out to be a milestone that sent him on a journey that has included spending half of his ministry career working for Africa Inland Mission. The other half of his career has been spent ministering at a local church as an Associate Pastor and Head Master. Wade graduated from Moody Bible Institute and Covenant College with a Masters in Educational Leadership. He is ordained in the Berean Church.
Wade is married to Susan who is also a Bible School graduate and a great partner in ministry. They have four children who all live in the Pittsburgh area which is pretty remarkable given that two were born in Kenya, one in New Jersey, and one in Knoxville,Tennessee. Wade has a heart for seeing people progress in knowing Christ and making him known.
His responsibilities which include the Small Group Ministry and Christian Education are great avenues to walk with people as they strive to become more like Christ. He gets excited about opportunities to teach and preach as well as to coach and mentor. A passage that he really holds dear is John 15: 1-17 which includes, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.”
