I'M NEW

SENIOR PASTOR
A Great Opportunity in PITTSBURGH

Christ Church at Grove Farm is a vibrant congregation with a beautiful campus located in the suburbs of Pittsburgh . To find out more about Christ Church see our Parish Profile  and to find out more about the kind of person we expect to call to the Senior Pastor position see our Pastor Profile .

Why is the Senior Pastor opportunity at CCGF so terrific?

1. Pittsburgh is continuously voted one of the most livable cities in the United States .

2. Resources! CCGF is blessed with beautiful facilities, creative people, and finances to enable it to execute priorities.

3. Growth! CCGF has grown steadily with an average weekend attendance of 1,500.

4. Leadership from CCGF led the development of:
    i. Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry (a conservative Anglican seminary)
ii. Coalition of Christian Outreach (college-based outreach and discipleship).
iii. Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation/Serving Leaders (non-profit organization teaching and coaching leaders for cultural impact)
iv. World Vision's "Gifts-in-Kind" ministry, which has generated over $3.0 billion of donated products--U.S. & Worldwide
    v. Silver Ring Thing (SRT) has spread throughout the U.S. and internationally
vi. 10-Year development of Uganda ministry - evangelism, pastor support, coffee plantation, community services. Deep commitment locally to Urban Impact.
vii. SAMS-South American Missionary Society-sending missionaries to Central and South America .

5. CCGF has grown by evangelism as well as attraction and currently a large number of congregants are young/new believers.

6. CCGF currently has two styles of worship which make for more connection points with the culture. Both services offer quality, meaningful worship experiences.

7. There are several seminaries and Christian schools nearby for continuing one’s education or keeping sharp; our campus currently hosts BSF and CBS bible studies.

8. CCGF has a good suburban location in the North Hills, a growing area with interstate access and close proximity to urban areas. This means the ministries of CCGF can be diverse and potentially multi-cultural.

9. Even with recent evangelical church growth, there is a very large percentage of the Pittsburgh population who are un-churched.
