Rick Malsch
Facilities Administrator

Rick Malsch is our Facilities Administrator. So, apart from preaching, he’s the man to go to for just about everything else. Rick and his staff maintain our buildings, set up rooms, oversee the grounds, make sure the snow gets removed in winter, and that the air conditioning is on in the summer, make the coffee, maintain the church vehicles, and will drop everything to help someone who needs to have a heavy box moved from one place to another. And, in addition to everything else, Rick has a beautiful tenor voice and sings on our praise team and in the choir.

So who is Rick? Well, he’s a Pittsburgh boy, who went to Perry High School, spent two years as a Marine, and worked 31 years in maintenance at the Veterans Hospital. He’s married to Cathy, and they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

After a rather serious knee injury in May 2010, Rick is rethinking his choice of sports. He probably won’t be bicycling to work anymore, and it might mess up his golf game, but he’s sure to come up with something active to keep him going. The injury certainly is not going to kill his enthusiasm for his favor vacation – a cruise to a warm place.

He received the gift of salvation at the age of 37.
