Rev. Gordon Green
Family Life Pastor

Gordon is a family man, married to Ruth, and the father of four children. He leads our family life department which includes our separate ministries to women, men, young adults, students, and children.This puts Gordon in the center of our life together at Christ Church as he and his staff work to support and empower families at all stages of development.

Gordon did his undergraduate work at the University of Florida, and his Master of Divinity at Trinity School for Ministry, and an MA in Counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary. Gordon often team teaches our Adult Ed classes on marriage and family dynamics with his wife Ruth, and says that Ruth, who is from England, keeps his theology grounded in reality.

When Gordon isn’t at his desk you can find him working out on a tread-climber, or walking in the countryside for exercise. He might be watching his kid’s events, or he might be indulging in his secret passion – watching British Murder Mysteries. That’s what happens when you have a British wife.

Gordon lives by Proverbs 3” 5-6:
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
