I'M NEW

Rev. Dr.  Keith Currie
Director of Music Ministry

We are really blessed to have Keith with us as Minister of Music. He came close to death  a few years ago when he broke his neck skiing at Seven Springs. After something like that, everything in life begins to look really good.

Keith has a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Grace College, Indiana, a degree in Sacred Music from Moody Bible Institute, a master’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a doctorate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Keith and his wife Sue have three daughters and eight grandchildren. Although he has now given up skiing (for obvious reasons), Keith enjoys, swimming, volleyball and softball. He played on the Grace College soccer team where his nickname was “KC”.

Keith gets his news from the Pittsburgh Tribune and Fox News, and does not “facebook or twitter”. Keith says that his wife Sue has an incredible mind and memory and helps him think through situations from a totally different perspective, plus she’s a great cook.  His passion is to facilitate worship for others, to feed the flock with God’s word, and to be an inspiration to the students he teaches at Robert Morris University.

Keith’s inspiration comes from Proverbs 3: 5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.
