Parents! We are so excited about a new "first-time" opportunity here at Christ Church. Beginning this Sunday, January 8, 2012 we'll be offering an adult Sunday School class at 10:15 am called, "Parenting a New Generation." We are NOT having this class to tell you how to parent, only to give you resources, information and networking possibilities to help you get through the "teen" years as gently as possible. Our goal as a youth ministry department is to help your teen get to the college years with as much ammunition as possible to continue God's plan for their lives.

Some of the topics will include:

Circle of Trust: Partnerships and Community

Choosing to Cheat: Increasing Time Together

Shaping the Heart: Discipline, True Love, Tough Love,

Married with Children: Mobilizing the Family to Demonstrate Gods Love

We want to be part of your team, raising healthy, (spiritually, mentally and physically), teens who will be ready to take on college life or whatever the next step may be. We believe that the Lord has a plan for each student and together we can develop a Christian faith that will help them find God's will for their lives. You the parent are the biggest part of that, so we wanted to provide this opportunity for us all to get together to look at some key issues involving this generation and the world they live in.

Sundays at 10:15 am in Fellowship Hall (10 weeks). We hope to see you there!
