Missions – Christ Church at Grove Farm

Our Purpose for Missions

As you LEARN about the local outreach and global missions programs CCGF is engaged with, you can more effectively PRAY, GIVE AND GO.

The purpose statement of the missions program at Christ Church is to “Share the love of Jesus as together we, learn about, pray for, give generously of talents and finances and serve in local outreach and global missions”.  We encourage one another to “go out” and bring help and hope to a world in need of the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Acts 1:8- But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

The week of Oct 4th, we are asking the whole congregation to participate in a MOMENTUM YES program to learn more about unreached people groups and to Pray for the Khmer unreached people group in Cambodia.  A MOMENTUM YES Zoom class is being offered on Sunday, October 4 at 6:00 PM.

Encounter Coffee Bar

The coffee bar is closed at this time. We plan to reopen when all restrictions are lifted.
All profits from the Encounter missions coffee bar are used to fund mission projects, both locally and globally. If you’d like to volunteer to work in our coffee bar on Sunday mornings, we will provide training and you can sign up for anytime that is convenient for you. Please contact Jayme Barone at 412-913-9438 or jaymemjackson@gmail.com. You can also signup online HERE.
