HANK RANKIN

Hank grew up Catholic. He was the eldest child in a loving home with parents who invested their most valuable asset -their time- into each of their four children. To this day he remains close with his siblings.

He married Liz in 1976. He and Liz have two grown daughters and one grandchild.
Hank fervently resisted Liz’s attempts to get him interested in church for many years. Finally, one day, he attended Christ Church, heard a sermon by John Guest, and left with a changed heart.

He has nurtured his faith now for many years through regular daily devotion, Bible study, and most recently fellowship with other men in the church.Hank retired from Upmc in May of 2017. He enjoys working on cars, riding his Honda Goldwing, and watching golf.

A humble and gentle man, Hank is most comfortable serving others, and is pleased to be serving with the Men’s Ministry of Christ Church.
