Ministry to Men

The Men's Ministry at Christ Church is dedicated to making fully devoted followers of Christ by building men of integrity, intimacy, identity, and influence. In order to accomplish this, we strive to provide opportunities for Worship, Service, Sharing our Faith, Fellowship, and Discipleship.

Those five purposes (worship, service, sharing our faith, fellowship, & discipleship) are the reason for our ministry. The Great Commandment (found in Matthew 22:37-38) and The Great Commission (found inMatthew 28:18-20) direct us to love God, love our neighbors, make disciples, participate in fellowship, and teach & be taught. These concepts are central to this ministry and drive all we do.

2. Downtown F3 workout, 6:30 am- 7:30 am at Point State Park. Please meet by 6:25 am next to the huge American flag that is next to “café at the point” and across the lawn from the Wyndham hotel. If you’re coming from outside of downtown, there is free street parking at the meters until 8 am, or you can park close by in the gateway center garage, which you can also see on the map. After Shore leads us through a half-hearted warm-up, I have planned for everyone an assortment of “fun” activities. For example, there is a new circuit that I have developed that I have loosely named “the 20 points of pain.” There will be a scenic 3-rivers circuit, where we will pay homage to each river in a merkin-like prayer. And there may be some jubilant hopping and skipping up and down the steps. It will be a like a walk in the park! Continuing every Thursday. Click here for map for this group.
