I'M NEW

The Men's Ministry at Christ Church is dedicated to making fully devoted followers of Christ by building men of integrity, intimacy, identity, and influence. In order to accomplish this, we strive to provide opportunities for Worship (to become men of integrity: who we are when no one is looking), Service (to become men of intimacy, willing to examine our hearts and open up to God, our wives, and other men), Sharing our Faith (to become men of identity: who we are in Christ), Fellowship (to become men of influence, to invest time and toil into people to benefit future generations), and Discipleship.

Those five purposes (worship, service, sharing our faith, fellowship, & discipleship) are the reason for our ministry. The Great Commandment (found in Matthew 22:37-38) and The Great Commission (found in Matthew 28:18-20) direct us to love God, love our neighbors, make disciples, participate in fellowship, and teach & be taught. These concepts are central to this ministry and drive all we do.

MENS RETREAT

  • Rob's Pick

If God is in charge and if we are following Him, then where we are at work or what we pursue every day in retirement is where God has placed us to do ministry or where He has allowed us to be to do ministry. He is going to use us where we are how we are but, wouldn’t it be better to be prepared better for greater use for His glory? This book is great for current and future leaders for Christ at home, in the church, in the community, and in the marketplace.
