My mind is in fall church mode.  Summer is unofficially over and it's time to "do church."  Attendance at worship services typically climbs in the fall now that vacations are over and kids are back in school.  People settle back into routine and hopefully that includes going to church.  That means for us, that is, those who serve at Christ Church, it's time for us to be ready - impactful children's and student ministries, dynamic adult education opportunities, and powerful worship services.  I hope that this fall you will consider plugging in to all that is happening at Christ Church.  Adult education is a wonderful opportunity to grow in your faith and meet new people, and there are plenty of opportunities for you to put your faith into action by serving.  Our choir is still in need of a few more singers, and our other ministries need volunteers.  I encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities because you will be blessed through your participation and you will be part of growing the Kingdom of God.  May His will be done on earth as it is heaven.  Amen.
