Email to the persons who requested assistance:

Hi there,

I wanted to follow-up with you after reaching out over the phone the other day. First things first, did the materials we gathered for you make it to your home O.K.? If there’s anything we forgot, or another need that has arisen for you, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Our primary concern is to make sure ALL our congregants, community members, and families are food-secure, healthy, and spiritually at peace. We here at Christ Church at Grove Farms want to see all those whom we care for succeed and thrive during this time.

To that end, we know that we all may feel very distant from our brothers and sisters in Christ during this time. It’s easy to feel disconnected or spiritually depressed. Feeling alone and isolated from others sometimes leaves us feeling alone and isolated from God, but you don’t have to be truly alone during this time. We are working very hard to keep building connections with our community and raising up God’s Holy Church, even during this pandemic! If you have spiritual needs that are not currently being met, please reach out to us and allow us to assist and guide you. We would be happy to facilitate devotional readings, practicing spiritual disciplines, or discuss ways to pray through these trying times. One way you can always participate in what’s happening at Christ Church at Grove Farms is through our Sunday Service live-stream or listening to past sermons, both activities can be accomplished by visiting the website: ccgf.org.

Lastly, I wanted to make sure you have a variety of ways to reach out to us. We strive to love others the way God loves each of us, and we want to be peace-bringers as God gives peace to the world. Remember, you are a beloved and valued member of our church-family. Don’t hesitate to call on us for help!

Give us a phone call at: 412-741-4900. (EXT#143)

Send an email our way to: needs@ccgf.org

To persons who did not require any immediate assistance:

Hi there,

I wanted to quickly follow-up with you after we checked in over the phone the other day. You mentioned that your physical needs such as groceries, medications, or home supplies were all taken care of already. That’s a wonderful blessing from God during these trying times! If for any reason your situation changes, and you need some help; we will be there to support you.

As always, I hope you’re able to remain involved with Christ Church at Grove Farms through our Sunday Service live-streams and listening to past sermons on our website: ccgf.org. It can be a great resource to make sure you don’t feel so spiritually distant, even as we practice being socially distant.

I wanted to leave you with a variety of ways to reach out to us. We strive to love others the way God loves each of us, and we want to be peace-bringers as God gives peace to the world. Or, if you know of any other community members in need, please direct them towards us or give their information to us so we can reach out to them!
