Our Campus, Our City,
Our Country, Our World
Christ Church is a missions-minded church, taking seriously the charge given to the disciples in Matthew 28:19 and Acts 1:8. We believe in the example Jesus set before us in caring for the whole person: spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. ~1 Peter 4:10~
Our Campus (Jerusalem)
CCGF is committed to using its 42 acres of property to be a resource and blessing to its community. We want our property to reflect who we are and who we live for. We provide several opportunities for others to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation, grow in community, and learn more about Jesus Christ.
We currently have open, public use for our basketball court and fishing pond.
We also have Community Vegetable Garden. The harvest is donated to local food shelters. We could always use help maintaining, watering, and weeding! To learn more about our Community Garden, click here.
Our City (Judea)
CCGF is committed to meeting the needs of the city we love. We continue to live out the prayer over Pittsburgh: that our city would be more known for Jesus than it is for steel. We have a strong partnership with Urban Impact Foundation thru our Lakeside Café proceeds benefiting UIF as well as volunteering in their various programs.
We also serve in a multitude of ways throughout Allegheny and Beaver Counties.
Our partners in ministry are:

Our Country (Samaria)
We have partnered with World Vision in Phillipi, West Virginia. It is a short two-hour drive down I-79, but is an area in distress struggling with exploitation of workers and severe lack of resources. We will be spending time with local families, and be open to seeing what God is doing there so that we may get in the flow of that.
Our World (Ends of the Earth)
We begin the heart for our World in Children’s Ministry and continue to develop that at any age! Our strategy begins with children praying over missionaries to students working with refugees in the Caribbean to partnering with CEED (Christian east African and Equatorial Trust) to continue work in Uganda. We are committed to raising up a generation that has a heart for all God is doing throughout the world and truly being the hands, feet, and mouthpieces of the Good News no matter where they live or what they do.
