We look at who you are, what kind of person you want to become, and how to be faithful to God through it all. This group is for anyone between the ages of 18 & 24 who are in college, taking a gap year, or in the work force. Bring your friends!
SMALL GROUPS: Engage in The Bible, Faith, & Culture. Meets every Sunday morning downstairs in Classroom 101 at 10:00 a.m.
Now studying Jonah: At the end of the day, God is less concerned with what we do for Him than who we are in Him. Few figures illustrate that truth better than Jonah. Focused on the prophet rather than his prophecy, the story of Jonah gives us a picture of a man on the run due to his own selfish desires. Instead of showing mercy to his enemies, he determined to keep God's grace to himself rather than share it with those he considered undeserving. Can you relate? So climb aboard and settle in we reveal how God uses extraordinary circumstances to break our hearts of selfishness, convince us of His tender care, and unite our lives to His glory.
THE EDGE GATHERING: (Equipping Disciples to Go Everywhere) Monday Nights, 7:00 - 9:00 pm in the Student Center. Experience community, discussion, teaching, speakers, Bible study, fun and FOOD!
LUNCH FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS & PARENTS: Sunday, May 21 after the 11:15 service at the Lakeside Cafe. Please email Brenda at email@example.com to reserve your place so we’ll be sure and have enough food. Join us for lunch and then a short meet and greet with our current college students. Following lunch, students will meet downstairs in 101 and parents will meet briefly in Wilson Hall. Or C & C staff and volunteers would love the opportunity to meet your student before they head off for school in the fall. Also: If your student is taking a Gap year or just working for a bit, we would love for them to attend also. We have something for every type of young adult.
