Can My Preschooler Attend Full Day Camp?

While we would love for all of our campers to attend full day camp; due to the high energy nature of this program campers must have COMPLETED Kindergarten to attend the full day program.  Thank you for understanding.

Camp Tee Shirts

All children enrolled in camp will receive a Summer Day Camp shirt for camp.

Camp Kick-Off

Sunday, July 14, 6-7:40 pm. Get a sneak peak at camp and all the fun. Kids can meet their counselors and pick up their t-shirts. Just one quick hour to get us ready for Camp on Monday. Parents: Lots of great info given here!

What to wear to camp

Campers should wear comfortable pants/shorts and shirts appropriate for the weather and active play. Many activities will take place outdoors. Please label all clothing that may be removed (sweatshirts, hats, etc.). If your child requires sunscreen, please apply it first at home (and send some with your camper). Tennis/sports shoes (sneakers) must be worn on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Crocs, flip flops or sandals can be worn on water days Tuesday, and Thursday only.

What to bring to camp

  • Lunch: All campers (Preschool through Grade 5) should bring a packed lunch. Please have campers name clearly written on their lunch bag. Coolers will be provided to keep food fresh. Please NO NUT PRODUCTS in any lunches.
  • Snacks: Please provide an additional snack along with the lunch for your camper. In the case of allergies or health concerns, parents should provide appropriate snacks for their child (Gluten-free, etc.). Please note food concerns/allergies etc. on the registration form.

What if my child is not coming one or more days?

If you know this in advance, please note it on the registration form. If circumstances change, notify us as soon as possible before July 15 by emailing Bethany at braraigh@ccgf.org. For last minute absences (child wakes up sick, etc.), email Bethany at braraigh@ccgf.org.

What if my child needs medications?

If a child requires any medications, uses an inhaler, requires an epipen or has other health concerns, the parent must complete a medication information form and provide the medication in an original container from the pharmacy to the camp nurse. Download health form here.
