Officially, advent is over, but I’m hoping you’ll allow me just a little more time with you and this devotional.

It’s Christmas Day when we celebrate the birth of our savior. He has come. And this begs the question, why? Why did he come?

The answer is simple - you are worth it. Completely and totally worth saving. Without hesitation. Without reservation. No exceptions. No asterisks. No fine print. You are worth saving. You are worth everything Jesus went through in order to save you.

And not just you. The person next to you. The people across the street. The people across the globe. The people in the White House and the Senate and the House of Reps. The people at the border and the people in Starbucks. The people in the suburbs and on the farms. All of us.

May this Christmas be the one where your soul feels its worth. May this Christmas be the one where you feel the worth of all the souls around you. May this Christmas be one where you believe.

VERSE: 1 Timothy 4:10 That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.

Prayer: O God that saves, grant to us this day the assurance of our worth to you. Remind us that we are worth saving. That our neighbors are worth saving. And thank you, for sending the savior who freely came and showed us what love means.
