END OF YEAR PIG ROAST, POT-LUCK, and GRAD PARTY!
SUNDAY | APRIL 28, 4-9PM
Our annual Pig Roast is a night full of fun as we celebrate the end of the school year before summer youth group begins and honor our graduating seniors before vacation and grad party season takes hold of us! At the church, we roast a pig the entire day - ready to serve at dinner time! Throughout the afternoon and into the night, we will have outdoor grad party fun: Volleyball, Bocce, Cornhole, Ultimate Frisbee, Spikeball...and all kinds of good stuff!
We will join together for dinner - we will provide the pig and drinks - and ask that some will bring side dishes to share (more on that below)!
At the end of the night, we will gather around the seniors and interview them about their time with us in High School Ministry. We will share laughter together, moments The Lord showed up in their lives, and the ways they have inspired all of us on our journey together!
We will end this magical evening around the campfire with some worship together...and some S'mores!
PARENTS, WE NEED YOUR HELP:
1. Would you be willing to provide a side dish we can serve at our picnic-style dinner together? If so, please email Kirsten Kopf who will organize our side dishes for us. Thank you!
2. Would you be willing to help us clean up? Our High School Ministry Team will be at the church most of the day (the Pig Roasters from 6:30am!) preparing for this event! Although there is not a tremendous amount of clean-up involved, a group of 6-8 parents who are willing to come from 8:30-9:30 to help clean-up some food stuff, games, load the pig-roaster in the truck, and help take out the trash would be a tremendous amount of help to our team who gives tirelessly to our teens throughout the year! If you would be willing to help, please email Kirsten Kopf with your contact info. Thank you!
